David's voice is beautiful. He is the whole package, amazing voice, wonderful personality, seriously handsome face, not to mention his smile that melts the snow. Those are a rare combination. I'm not sure that we will be able to find another AI contestant like him. AI 9 is still on??? when will it be done??? Yawn, yawn, yawn, ZZZzzzzz................

In the season 7 and other AI sites, if you change SORT BY Relevance to SORT BY View Count, you don't find David A.'s SMM video (924,000 views) but YT do put Cook's Dolly song (700,000 views). It's called omitting to make Cook appear better wt high views. Dah, not true. They can omit for their own purpose yet David Archuleta continues to be popular and famous. Rig still continues so Cook can appear the winner in season 7 sites for NEW viewers who can buy his cds. Archuleta is still popular.

There is higher view count video of David singing Dolly Parton's SMM (902,000 views) which they refuse to post in american idol listing. Only this and 9,700 viewed one stays in the listing. David sang more variety than what they list here. type his name "david archuleta" with quotes around his name to find variety, fun, funny videos of David Archuleta, view and enjoy.

I have no idea why Simon's words carry so much weight, he's not God. It really pissed me off to hear him criticize David's performances when he was great on practically all of them. I think the producers told him to in order to sway votes away from David. AI was going to make money on DA even if he lost--and that's just what is happening! This is a good song but I'd rather have heard him sing "I Will Always Love You." Anything he sings is okay by me, though. Love him!
