Rochester Institute of Technology senior design group P13271 testing the AMSAT Fox-2 satellite prototype MPPT on a sunny day in Rochester, NY. The test is preliminary to prove that the MPPT design is valid but does not use final value components. Solar panel used is a 10W panel borrowed from a friend. The panel is used for proof of concept only as the final version MPPT will work with SpectroLab UTJ 28.3% solar cells that are unavailable to our senior design team.
