It's sort of sad to see these flashbacks even though I LOVE them -- it's a COLD slap in the face to how AMAZING these shows were back in the 70's/80's vs today -- and I mean ALL OF THEM!! Dear God, what we've lost!

These scenes were great enough but I think they would've been better had they included scenes of Jeanne opposite Brenda Dickson's Jill.

That flashback of her with Phillip, she had picked him up from the airport after he had left the country to get a quickie divorce from Kay so he could marry Jill who was pregnant with his child(Cane). Kay was drunk when she was driving and hit the accelerator causing them both to go over a cliff. Maybe she was planning to make both of them die together, but I guess God intervened with her plans. Phillip died, but she only had bad injuries. Maybe her living on without Phillip was a punishment.

It's amazing how Mrs Chancellor's house still remain the same since it was first shown. Even the wallpaper by her staircase is the same. The sofa looks like the same style but the fabric is up to date. Love this show!
