  • UKSji is the world's foremost expert on the mridangam and tonal percussion. He is a lawyer and used to have an active practice until about 30 years back. Since then he has spent about 10 years learning N.Indian percussion and produced a true Indian fusion by reproducing bols and tans on the mridangam. Then he spent the next ten years mastering Western Percussion. And the next ten years researching the mridangam.
