Of course, use it all you want! I have quite a few free videos up you can learn from them, and if you want to learn full katas and make it easier, pick up my DVDs at my website. Thanks for watching!

i'm thinking of using sai in competition.. unfortunately, the kata that i learned isn't exactly my favorite...
but its not like i haven't be known to make up katas, either in advance or in the spur of the moment.. that twirl looks cool, i'd totally use it.
can you do a kata for us? i haven't checked other vids yet, so you might have already done a few katas or something like that. i'd love to learn, i love competing!

thanks for the comments. I do not have any full kata instructionals on YouTube. If you are really interetsed in learning some great katas, I would check out our DVD series: Ultimate Training: Sai. You will learn two great competition katas. -Master Michael Hodge

Ah, red aluminum sai with leather wrapping and a flat pummel.
You got those from Century right? How balanced are they?
Mitsushiru 3 years ago
Yes I got these sai from Century. They have very good balance and finesse. I recommend this pair to anyone looking for something light - especially to practice "competition-type" techniques like I show in my DVDs.
