Unibody Macbook Unboxing

Here's the unboxing i promised in yesterdays video. This is a great laptop and really under estimated compared to the macbook pro. Dollar for dollar you get more for your money for $899 for the Macbook with your student discount than $1199 for the same spec macbook pro minus the sd card slot, firewire and illuminated keyboard. well essentially they are. The macbook pro 13" base model is still essentially a macbook and cheaper than the original aluminum macbook that came out in 2008. I had one before this one but felt it was to much for what i used it for so sold it and bought this white unibody and still have $400 from the sale. So, win win.

Hey man i'm getting a MacBook next year (I need to save up) and i'm a drummer (hence the name) and I was just wondering which MacBook is the best for editing and splicing music etc.? and also how much you have paid for this full price?

I received the pro 13 as a graduation gift and I have to disagree with your assessment that the regular MacBook is better. The pro MacBooks are way more stylish and in my opinion the extra features are well worth the extra $200.00.

Wow, you are almost convincing me to get this instead of Macbook Pro. The only thing is, is I am a Film student and need the power that the Pro can provide.

They don't both have 250 GB hard drives.

The base model 13 inch pro has a 160 GB hard drive. That's the main reason why I'm considering the regular macbook with a 4 GB ram upgrade. I don't also have to upgrade the hard drive because 250 is enough for me.

So actually, the base MBP has less specs than the macbook... lol
