Yesterday, I did a clean install of Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" 64bit.
I have a dual monitor setup. My 2nd monitor is used for static monitoring of my email, chats, and terminal.
I use four workspaces.
Workspace #1 is for extra work stuff.
Workspace #2 is for personal stuff.
Workspace #3 is for watching videos.
Workspace #4 is for IRC.
And, of course, I had to show Expo View and Guake drop-down terminal, which really ties the desktop together. :)

I installed Pithos (a Pandora client) using the directions/repository here:
http://blog.kevinmehall.net/2010/pithos

I also installed CoreAVC via Wine, using the directions/repository here:
https://launchpad.net/~ripps818/+arch...

At the time of install, May 1, 2010, Wine1.2 wouldn't allow me to install CoreAVC. This was a simple fix:
1. sudo aptitude install wine1.0
2. make CoreAVC setup file executable and install.
After that, go on to step #2 in the link above.
