  • Could someone tell me in percentage or fraction how much bigger a blocked piece of knitted lace is, compared to the unblocked? This is so I'll know when to stop knitting the central part of my first shawl. Thank you.

  • I don't have a lace scarf, but it's got holes on the edge (to put ribbon in when I'm done blocking) and the rest is just garter stitch. But I don't know if I should block with a wire like this, or do it a different way...
