"TATE" was one of two 1960 summer replacement series that occupied half of the Wednesday night time period reserved for "PERRY COMO'S KRAFT MUSIC HALL" on NBC, produced by his company, "Roncom Films" [named for his son Ronnie]; the other half was a sitcom, "HAPPY" {baby observes life through occasional "thought monologues" to the viewer, a la George Burns- his son Ronnie, incidentally, was the star}.

Roncom Films co-produced "KRAFT SUSPENSE THEATER" (1963-'65), with MCA/Universal, as part of Perry's agreement to appear in the monthly "KRAFT MUSIC HALL" specials that alternated with the series {they finally ended in 1967}. "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE" was originally a "pilot" ["Rapture at Two-Forty"] that aired on "SUSPENSE THEATER" (there were many unsold MCA projects that wound up on the series), and NBC bought it for the fall of '65, making Como a little more wealthier...
I'm going to guess it was around the 1964-65 season, because it was around then that "Kraft Suspense Theater" aired, and "Run For Your Life" ran the next season.
