  • that sound pretty amazing, but I would agree if the pickings are thin they would do what ever was nessesary to do.

  • I took a cruise once to Anchorage, Alaska, and there were plenty of Bald Eagles in the trees. Their heads looked like golf balls in the branches.

    Even so, the lemming population must crash from time to time--and that's plenty motivation for birds of prey to attack one another. One of the biggest owl species, the Eagle owl, is famous for attacking other birds of prey!

  • From what I am told there are very few balds up here. And there are soo many lemmings that there is no need to fight over food. The Balds prefer fish also.

  • Wow, the zooms a little too far out.

    Do the bald eagles and Snowy owls fight each other for food over there? Will they even eat each other? They're both very powerful birds.
