On the 16th September 1995 Burnley played Hull City at Turf Moor.
This was the last ever game played in front of the Longside.
On Sunday 17th September 1995 Burnley Football Club allowed people on to the Longside for one last time before the terrace made way for an all seater stand.
This is Part Two and a walk up the steps for the last time.

  • It's very rare that someone realises the value of shooting video footage of a historic (on whatever scale) event from the people's perspective. I used to stand in the Beehole as a kid and this video made me feel quite emotional.

  • you can still smell those bogs ..lol..wish it was still standing

  • always remember my dad taking me on the longside as a nipper :) great vid pal a+
