  • @VadimHor ahaha - a female shadocks nation, oh dear! see, my french is quite a while ago ;) thanks for the correction! yeah, I totally agree - the french speaker is great and is half of the fun/magic.... the german speaker tries his best, but unfortunately he's not as good as the original.... it seems to me that the german language is more difficult for expressing this sort of weirdness in the voice by having these ups and downs in your voice... english and french work better ;)

  • @hoppetosse8 You're welcome :) I don't know how it sounds in german, but in french, at least 40% of the fun aspect comes from story teller speaking. Plus it's explained with terms from the mathematic language; it's just illarious. Yes, i totaly aggre with your french sentence. They are very funny. You made 2 mistakes : "géniaux" and "rigolots". The "es" variations would be correct if Les Shadoks were all females :)

  • @VadimHor ooh! my dear! you went through the whole effort to explain everything! thanks so much! I'm sure it will be much appreciated by all not french speaking people ;) Fortunately I just discovered yesterday that there are DVDS with german language out - so I'm the lucky one to get them ;) Les Shadocks sont géniales et très rigolotes! Sorry, I'm not sure if the grammatical "issues" are solved well in the sentence before.... but I tried my very best! ;) Thanks again + take care

02:24 There are 3 types of Bus : Bus that go right, bus that go left, and bus that go neither one way nor the other.

02:34 But those ones are called "Pans".

02:37 here are 3 types of Pans : Pans with a tail to the right, pans with tail to the left and pans with...

02:01 Colanders that don't let neither the noodles nor the water through, neither in a direction nor in the other.

02:07 And those that don't let neither the noodles nor the water through, in a direction only. Those colanders are called "Pans"

02:14 There are 3 types of Pans : Pans with a tail to the right, pans with tail to the left and pans with no tail at all.

    Those ones are called "Bus".

01:35 For a Complex Colander to let the water through but not the noodles, the holes diameter must be notably inferior to the noodles diameter

01:45 For a Complex Colander to let the noodles through but not the water, the holes diameter must be notably inferior to the water diameter

01:55 As for First order Colanders that don't let neither the noodles nor the water through, there are to types :

  • @hoppetosse8

01:09 This implies the theorem : The Colander notion is not linked to the Hole notion, and reciprocally

01:18 We call First order Colanders, Colanders that don't let neither the noodles nor the water through

01:23 We call Second order Colanders, Colanders that let the noodles and the water through

01:27 We call Third order Colanders, or Complex Colanders, Colanders that let sometimes one or the other through and sometimes not.

  • @hoppetosse8

0:42 The interior is generaly placed above the exterior, and is often composed of noodles and water.

    0:49 Holes are not important

0:52 In fact, a simple experiment permits to realise that the instrument quality remains unchanged by cutting in a half the number of holes, and by cutting this half in a half again.

    etcetera, etcetera.

01:06 And, at the limit, till there is no hole at all anymore.

  • @hoppetosse8

0:11 The Gibis have managed to calm Gégène a little bit by playing some music

0:15 The Shadoks take profit of it and go to school

0:21 In the context of the Shadoks education campaign we promised at the beginning of the series, we will attend today the first Shadow logic lecture of professor Shadoko.

    The program is : Colanders

0:31 We call Colander, an instrument composed of 3 parts : the interior, the exterior and the holes.
