This is the Tuesday sand train operated by the Minnesota Commercial Railroad, that runs from MNNR's Midway Yard to BNSF's Dayton's Bluff Yard in St. Paul. In this video, the train is being pulled by a trio of aging units, led by a former Santa Fe SF30C. There is also a rebuilt Alco M636 (equipped with a CAT inline 8) and a GE C30-7 in the consist. The trio puts on a good show of smoke as they double up their train at Midway Yard. We also see the train at Union Junction and at 7th Street near downtown St. Paul.
