*Joes POV*

After pouring my heart and soul out to her, I waited for her to answer. She looked shocked, and the tears that were now pouring down her face didnt give me the slightest clue as to if she were happy or not. Liz? I said softly before standing up, looking down at my feet. I knew it was too soon. I scolded myself, before I heard her soft voice say Yes. I looked up at her immediately and saw a smile on her face. W-what did you say? I asked, not sure if I believed it or not. She smiled. Yes, I will marry you. I love you so much. She said. I smiled and slid the ring on her finger excitedly before pulling her into a passionate kiss. I love you Beth. I said with a smile after pulling away. She smiled too. I love you too Joey. She replied before I kissed her again as the balloon descended to the ground.


*Lizs POV*

As Joe drove us home, I admired the beautiful ring that sat on top of my purity ring when Joe took my hand in his. I looked over at him and smiled as he drove with one hand. We finally reached the Jonas house and walked in. It was only 10:30 so Mr. and Mrs. Jonas were still awake, and were sitting in the living room watching TV. Frankie sat on the couch, his head in his mothers lap as he dozed in and out of consciousness. Joe and I walked into the room, hand-in-hand hiding the engagement ring, and stood in front of the TV, which Mr. Jonas had turned off. How was your night kids? Paul asked. Joe winked at me and I blushed. Thats actually what we came in here to talk about. Joe replied to his father. I smiled and his mother looked at me, beaming. Well? she asked sweetly. I smiled and looked at Joe. Well tell them Joseph. I said sweetly. He kissed my forehead before looking back at his parents. Mom, Dad; Elizabeth and I are getting married. He said, proudly. I smiled at his parents who had smiles spreading across their faces.


*Joes POV*

I was standing next to Liz as my parents rose from their seats and immediately pulled us into hugs. Congratulations! my mom said as she embraced Liz in a hug before looking at the ring. Congratulations son; Liz is a great girl and I wish you nothing but happiness. My dad said as he shook my hand. Joseph, the ring is beautiful. My mom said as she gazed at the ring I had given Liz. Thanks Mom. I said as she hugged me. I cant believe it, my babys getting married. She said as she pulled away, tears streaming down her face. I hugged her again. I love you mom. I whispered before pulling away. Liz yawned. Now, off to bed you two. You guys leave tomorrow morning. Elizabeth, have you told your parents yet? my dad asked her. She shook her head. No, Ill tell them when we stop in New Jersey. She replied before I led her upstairs. Night Mom, Dad. I said as we walked up the stairs. Night Kids. They replied.


I led Liz into my room and we got changed. After changing into our pajamas, we slid into the bed. I wrapped my arm around her as she snuggled into me. I kissed the top of her head. I love you Joey. She whispered sleepily. I smiled and kissed her lips softly. I love you too Beth. I replied. She smiled and closed her eyes. I began humming to her as I felt her breathing steady, meaning she was asleep. I smiled to myself and closed my eyes, falling asleep with my future wife in my arms.
