My very favorite Amy Grant song. Very, very deeply touching and comforting. Thank you, Amy.

I'm surprised----- well, not really -- it's YouTube. Thanks nonetheless for putting this up. It's a TV moment that left an imprint. Memorable a decade later. Which is saying much, considering all that we're bombarded with. Yet, this was so poignant. And I remember my esteem -- already high -- for Ms. Grant was boosted immeasurably. She did so very well in a most difficult and trying time for all of us.

this song is so beautiful and has a strong meaning. I guess she dedicated to the victims and all affected by the columbine incident, but I could relate this song as well for other shootings. I live in Germany not far from where the albertville-middle school was scene of a shooting on march 11. and it's so sad to know that again kids at a young age were killed.
my prayers go out to all victims of school shootings, not only columbine, albertville, or VT...all of them experienced the same!

when exactly was this event taken place, what date? thanks for this by the way
This was taken from a memorial service that happened two days after the Columbine massacre on April 20, 1999 in Littleton, Colorado. The stage was set up in the parking lot of a box store right across the street from the park where the high school is located. Noted on stage with Amy is Colin Powell and then VP Al Gore.
