Well I'm not a U2 fan, or anything. But I think they did a good job bringing Irish bands and singers into this, to pay a tribute to Ronnie Drew, who definately deserved it.

The way I see it, a singer is a singer is a singer. When a folk singer sings a pop song, is he a folk singer when he sings it? And the other way around ? Also, I don't believe in categorizing music...

So for you, Pavarotti and the Village People are the exact same thing and they play the exact same music ?
