Minimum wage will certainly not make it any easier for the low skilled to find jobs and will most likely make it more difficult. Second, minimum wage does not help to alleviate poverty because it costs many low skilled workers their jobs. Also, most poor households are usually headed by someone making a wage that is higher than minimum wage. Finally, minimum wage will not help the economy because it merely moves wealth around and does nothing to create real wealth.
This is an impulse issue. Kinda like a lure the angler (politician) uses to stir the bite impulse (self interest) in a fish (uninformed voter). It's no good for the fish - the only advantage gained is for the angler.
You have no idea about basic economics, or the damage min wage law does to the labour market & inflation in prices.
The fact is you are aspiring towards nothing, you are not learning new skills or increasing your potential for employment. You simply have nothing to offer other than basic labour, which any healthy man/woman can supply.
This is why you earn the min and other people have learnt skills and earn better. what have you been doing since you left school??

The min wage is not meant to be a LIVING wage, its a starting wage which you should increase through training & quals.
you work for a good 45 years of your life, thats plenty of time to rise up the career ladder.
You really need to learn basic economics because your theories about min wage reducing poverty and benefitting the economy is COMPLETELY wrong.
Minimum wage is to blame why you cannot find much work, but you really need to learn the facts to understand that.
