DC is a very odd example because of the tendency to omit DC from the same standards as the rest of the country because its not a state or really an anything. I live in michigan a democratic state and we have more guns per person then any state. I can walk into any gun store and get whatever i want. The democratic leaders of my state aren't stopping me. You make it seem like all democrats are ravenous dogs waiting to attack at the first sign of a gun.
