  • I dislike FRED.

  • In August of 58, I purchased two 45's this and Little Star. Two of my all time favorites to this day. Both amazing songs; the summer and fall of 58 had so many great songs, Jack Scott Conway Twitty The Teddy Bears, flip their hit over and get Don't You Worry My Lttle Pet so many GEMS

  • :-(

  • "The Shields were a studio concoction by producer George Motola, formed solely to record "You Cheated", according to Joel Whitburn. Here was a case of a black studio group ending up with a more successful cover of a song that was originally written and performed by a white vocal group (The Slades)! Of course, the Shields were something of a supergroup, featuring Jesse Belvin, Johnny 'Guitar' Watson, and Frankie Ervin."

  • One of the great falsetto wails in the history of doo-wop-particularly at about 1:59 into the song.

  • we still have the juke box,and 45 records...now that was living!!!

  • i feel so bless,i had all this beautiful music at my finertip, my fsmily own the local canteen, where preteen-had two nights and upper teens two nights. I am from a small midwest town, where we had sock hops and pep rally everyFriday. I had two boyfriends. who were so fine. We never, had to worry about guns,,killing, light skin. i had long hair, big legs and a butt to go into a skinney skirts,_if you are from that era you know that guys loved butt, and hair ,legs...color did not matter to much .

  • Fabulous sound and words are reflection of growing up in that era of innocence...Great times...Thanks for the memories...
