King Motors Baja 5b problem

Please help. For some reason the back tires stopped working so it wont spin anymore. I goes back and foward about a inch but its like locked up. Please help

There all wrong the problem is that its not a Hpi baja its junk did your motor go yet

@MrPoppyjo i got the car working, i needed a new clutch , it was 250 to repair this at a shop and now my car wont start so i have no idea whats wrong with it this time, i tried and tried and gave up and a the other day , after a few weeks of trying to start it, it turned on but it only lasted 2 or 3 seconds and turned back of? do you no wat that could be? i dont no why i bought a king motor car :/

Hey check the bolt that holds the pinion gear to the clutch bell. Its probably broke, its a common problem. U should look into getting a Turtle Racing clutch system.

@fxgrnd38 thanks, ok im used to nitro rc cars because i had many of them but on here im not really familiar because this is my first 2 stroke rc car. where is the bolt the holds the pinion gear? also were is the pinion gear? and where is the clutch bell. im guessing its by the two gears i see?

@fxgrnd38 its the little gear you see there the clutch bell is directly behind that. see if you can remove that bolt you will need to lock the gears down so they want rotate. Also check the clutch spring,dogbone pins,the pins that hold on the rear hubs,check the hex on the back side of your wheels,also check the drive axles where the dogbones If its none of these then its in the transmission.

@fxgrnd38 well i hit into a wall and when i got up the wall then it stopped working, i dont know if that changes any of the reasons why its not working. could it still be the trans from hitting a wall

can someone help me i got a baja 5t and when start it on neutral the wheels start spinning and yeah its like me accelerating but im not even pressing the button its on neutral and doing that i heard that its the clutch its locked up is that right?

U fried the fuck out of the bearings in the motor like I did for making my 5b hover heat don't drive it more than a full tank give it a 20 min to cool down then u won't have the same thing happen again

looks like its a diff prob i too bought a shitty clone the money ive spent on it putting it right i could of bought 2 hpi baja LOL

@1091jordan Also i started my one up the other day, it started perfect, everything moves perfect. If you not sure what the spur gear is, its the big gear besid the little gear. the little gear is called a pinion gear. It's attatched the the clutch. But remember, it's King Motors. They a cheap asian clone of the HPI. But all HPI parts are compatible with it.

Ok. Just to let you no, I'm not an expert, but i do have the same make and model as yours. King motors baja 5B. What may be causing the problem is either within the diff, or within the clutch. The diff is located behind the motor, it's a black object that has a rod coming out of it, through the brakes and into the spur gear. You may need to take the dif apart. Inside you will find a whole bunch of gears. something could be wrond there. I'm not sure what is behind the clutch, i hope this helps.

$250 ! man i get  clone clutches for $18.00bucks each,

cant knock the clones they are just so cheap for parts..

and btw check the coil has not come loose after the crash

@MrPoppyjo Why you gotta be a hater? He saw a deal on the clone car and bought it. I have the KM KSRC-001 and love it, 2 gallons into it and the only problem was a bum spur gear holder, $8 HPI replacement and no big deal.

I did replace the servos from the start simply because I prefer Hitec over no name servos.

I had the same problem, mine was running also for a few seconds. The problem was the needle inside the carb, check on ebay for walbro repair kit and replace the needle, then turn your L and H back to factory settings

@rcsandthings sounds like tuning problem or a stone is traped were the hex nut is, i had it happen to me before lol
