when you throw the lure out you reeling it in and shaking the pole at the same time? What's the difference with just reeling it in?

@ross94559 the motion of the rod craetes a back and forth on the pencil popper so it swims side to side and does not move forward so quickly

its amazing how top water striper fishing turns you rite into a little kid on x mas morn frenzy.im a wetsuiter from mass and i sware these youtube vids make it a little easier on the off season.you know what i mean...keep em coming..

@LIfisherman1 nope on the Van Stahl..I was using a Penn 704 and an old fenwick blank glass rod..
