Our younger generation has rarely seen magicians other than david copperfield, david blaine or chris angel. So i'd like to share with everyone the many greats of magic, past and present from the documentary, Heros of Magic. In this clip we have Fred Kaps.

It's really inappropriate having Michael come on and speak about humility in magic. If one watches Michael's act the patter is actually quite arrogant. As an example his cups & balls routine where he says "watch me work" as he goes into a false transfer routine. Don't get me wrong, Michael is very nice guy when you meet him at the Circle, but his act does leave something to be desired which is why I don't think he has scaled the heights he should have done despite being an excellent technician.

@JohnnySilver78 Not all the viewers are commenters; I said the people who take the time to read and write the comments are all magicians. Just look at the comments and you will see it. I don't really care what Kaps would think. He was old school, the net was not around in his day. Basically it is wrong that magicians have to buy to find the method... a lot of crap has been mis-sold like this with no refunds. I am telling students this is done via invisible thread hook up for free. Nobody pays!

@CaraBrimleyRules you are famous,LOL! ya ok. Over 800 posts? thats just means you talk alot. This video is called Heros of Magic and yes, normal people are watching this. You mean to tell me that all 35,000 of these viewers were magicians? I doubt if you have the years or performing experience to be a teacher. If you had respect for magic, do you think Kaps would appreciate you telling everyone the method? Even magicians are to buy the secret, then decide if they like it or not.

@JohnnySilver78 Look, one thing you have to realise is that only magicians & magic students read these comments here. Modern day audiences would not know who Kaps is. Just take a look at the comments, they are all by magicians. Hahaha, wake up & smell the coffee. I am famous for helping students out with their effects. I am also (in)famous on the magicafe, & one of my other personas on the cafe is a respected member with over 800 posts. Exposure is a non issue. Presentation is the real secret.

@CaraBrimleyRules that is non-sense. Its called exposure. Some of us make a living from doing this stuff, and people like you giving away the secrets doesnt help. If youre helping students PM them! Dont run your mouth in front of everyone for the world to read. This apparently happens with you alot judging by the comments on your page. And for the record he could start with the ring on the table.
