O.O as tacky as this sounds, you should enter American Idol once you reach 16. Janice is one of Simon's favorite singers and he is SO impressed by people who can sing Janice's songs, if you sing this like that at your audition, you have a free pass to the next round, and off your talent, you can make it SO far, Keep Going

Janis had a deeper voice if you could believe that.

On another note, Kris Kristofferson wrote and performed this song which Joplin later covered (and did such a good job, that people think this is a Joplin song).
