In this edition of the Alaska Report, Librarian of Congress, Dr. James Billington guides Sen. Murkowski through a portion of the Librarys expansive collection of Alaska maps, letters, photos and even some video and audio files. Some of the items featured include an old fire insurance map of my Ketchikan from 1914 and the original drawings for St. Michael's Cathedral in Sitka.

The Senator had a hard time getting a word in edge-wise with the loquacious Dr. Billington. I would have liked to hear the folks standing behind the table talk - the were surely experts on the material in front of them.
