Out with my friend Sven in the woods near the train station having some fun with a machete we found this dead tree and put it out of its misery :D
Specifications Magnum Kukri Machete 18.2 oz.
Thickness: 2.75mm 2.75mm
Overall: 18" 22"
Handle: Polypropylene
Always practice safety when using a machete and be very careful where the tree will fall it might land on your feet and u could be injured that is why i was taking my time at the end and again be very careful with a machete because it tends to bounce of if u do not hit the material at the right angle

  • @hongkong36th it is a machete first and foremost. So it's designed to cut through leafy plant matter and softer woods like you would see in more tropical locations. The blade is thin so that it can accomplish this task more easily. The blade's temper allows it to flex which helps to absorb shock and prevent it from getting permanently bent.

  • but why is the magnum kukri machete so bendy? Is it because so that the kukri doesn't snap easily or what?

  • In soviet russia, cookie eats you.

  • @BunikuXXL This specific machete is designed to cut limbs (or larger) for survival situations. Hence the blade shape. It is designed to endure this.

  • OOOPS at 2:10 , that blade missed him by 1 mm :)).

  • today i will show you the cookie machete lolololol

  • @MrJoeyBoombotz ,yep.I have seen a former colleague getting the tree just passing his chin when falling down. It's a no-no to just stand there when the tree is falling down.Great video by the way.Effective blade. That's for sure.

(we used chainsaws. The Husqvarna and Stihl.)

  • the machete is not for cutting down trees like that. you will only wear it down and damage it like that. for tree cutting use an axe. the machete is used for smaller tasks that cannot be done with a axe or knife, like cutting a path through jungle/forest, taking bark and branches of trees, etc. also don't forget to sharpen it with regurarly, this isn't meant to be dull.

  • did you use the tree after cutting it down?
