USB-AD43 adapter to 4x Serial COM(TTL), Dynamixel, JTAG, SPI, I2C, Pony Programmer

In this tutorial will demonstrate how to use the USB AD43 adapter in Dynamixel mode.

A very important step is to connect correctly the battery or the power supply.

After connecting the adapter to the USB port, power supply and Dynamixel servo, we want to make sure the drivers are installed correctly, the port assign to the Dynamixel adapter it will be the adapters fourth port , in our case port number 4.

In "Dynamixel Configurator", will choose the forth port from the list, and then click on the Open Port button.

Will start scanning for Dynamixel servos, the first servo detected will appear in Target ID window.

We can add additional servos, and by selecting the corresponding Target ID, we can drive them individually.
