King of the Tramps
I shabby-shuffle down the broken street,
I got no money & no place to eat.
No relations and nowhere to go ho-ho,
People passing by cause they dont know who I am,
They mistake me for a broken man,
They dont know Im the King here of the Tramps.
I slippy-slidey down the Camden Road,
Telling people where the hell to go.
I swig my wine & smoke an old cigar ha-ha,
And wander out in front of moving cars.
Who am I? Ive forgotten who I used to be.
Wasnt I someones Son once and Heir?
Chorus:
I am the King here, of the Wasters & Nutcases.
I am the King here dont mistake me,
King of the Tramps.
I wibble-wobble over dead wet leaves,
And laugh at people passing up my sleeve.
I only hide because they must not know ho-ho,
I hide my Majesty beneath my clothes.
Chorus:
I am the King here, of the Wasters & Nutcases.
I am the King here, dont mistake me or forsake me.
I am the King here - dont mistake me,
King of the Tramps.
