Both sound great, but strange from WGS to talk about the Veteran 30 like a Vintage 30 alternative... Nothing identical.

The WGS are better for this style. They sound great but still leave space in the mix for vox and other lead instruments. The mid range hash that the V30's are known for is here in spades. Some love it. I hate it. The WGS really sounds nothing like a V30 and that's a good thing in my book but is probably confusing to some if the Celestion sound is what they are looking for

It seems that the WGS ist better for this kind of metal, but for all other styles of music the V30 is the much better speaker.
