I got her to run she gave one last fight, witch was the fire wouldn't light after like 10min of toying around with it I found the propblem, the jet was taking too much air I needed to block 3of4 air intake holes to get it to light. I used paper tape to cover them it runs fine but looks off with tape in the cap. hehe

The accucraft ruby isn't really basic it's detailed for a beginners loco.
Alot more detailed than the roundhouse basic locos.

I ment your accucraft shay is it still running fine?

@Firrboxfryup - Thanks Jamie - I have to admit that I do like that double-headed sound!

Have you had trouble with your accucraft? When I got the Ruby kit right off the bat the frame wasn't spaced to far apart I had to bend it just so the wheels would turn. then a screws head cam off it took forever to get it out, they mislabled the E-clamps that really confused me, the gas pipe wasn't long enough I have the tank lose, the screw holes for the side-tanks need to be drilled larger for the screws to fit, and last I can't put a screw in because to holes aren't aligned.

@DAKOTA56777 - Hi Dakota - both the locos in this video are Roundhouse - a Millie and a Katie/Bertie hybrid. The Ruby kit is very basic but I am afraid I have no experience with it. Sounds like it needs a lot of fettling to get it built and, from what I hear, a lot more to get it running smoothly. Good luck!

Nice video, though you were lucky with the wind incident, I've managed to destroy a coach because of the wind. The coach got destroyed because the loco (Roudhouse Taliesin no less!) landed on it, giving its life to save the engine!

@laalrattysbrother - Thanks Christopher - that sounds like a nasty incident - a Taliesin hitting the deck would be seriously expensive! It is the stuff of nightmares.......

Lovely video there, the valve gear on the kertie looks great with the outside wheels! Great sound as always.

@DebenValleyLightRail - Thanks Zach - I had to think about the "Kertie" for a moment!! I wish I could claim the credit for the chassis conversion - it is very neat - but before my ownership.
Cheers
