This is a beautiful nasheed (Islamic song) about the 99 names of God (Allah) and it is sung by Hijjaz, a nasheed group. It took me more than a month to complete this video and, alhamduLilah, I've managed to finish it with utmost concentration to prevent any mistakes in the video. I hope that this video will help to strengthen our faith in Islam and remember God more often. I pray to God for forgiveness if there is any mistake or error, even the slightest of it, is present in this video. Ameen.

Summary: The 99 Names of Allah, also known as The 99 Most Beautiful Names of God (Arabic: أسماء الله ال حسنى‎ ʾAsmāʾ Allāh al-Ḥusnā), are the names of God (specifically, attributes) by which Muslims regard God and which are traditionally maintained as described in the Quran, and Sunnah, amongst other places. There is, according to hadith, a special group of 99 names but no enumeration of them. Thus the exact list is not agreed upon, and the names of God (as adjectives, word constructs, or otherwise) exceed 99 in the Qur'an and Sunnah. Some of the names of God have been hidden from mankind, therefore there are not only 99 names of God but there are more.

  • Hadith - Sahih Muslim and Bukhari 8:419, Narrated Abu Huraira : Allah has ninety-nine Names, one hundred minus one, and whoever 'ahsaha' [enumerates them, believes in them, ponders their meanings, worships Allah by them and supplicates with them, and acts by them according to one's belief in them] will enter Paradise; and Allah is Witr ("Odd", i.e. He is one, and it is an odd number) and loves 'the Witr' (i.e., odd numbers).
