  • I'm 18 and I'm only just discovering this kind of music now after being bombarded with terrible pop music all my life. Its like a breath of fresh air.

  • You are NEVER too young or too old for superb music like this!!The REAL thing!!

  • who is the black guy playin drums,, is it stevie jordan from john mayer trio,, not being racist by the way just curious

  • I use to and still do use the Audio Technica cartridge and Stylus !

  • And then one day the Almighty spoke. His first words were "My name is Eric"

  • @EllJayAitch Ah yes; still have my Pioneer PL55X Direct Drive that's 35 years old now, and you are so right that nothing but live matches the sound of good vinyl under a good stylus. Glad I took care of all those albums and will pass on to my son-in-law someday. (He's the one who found me a new stylus and that was not an easy task.) Read recently that Steve Jobs never bought any music except vinyl till he died. If that doesn't validate it vs digital I don't know what would.

  • @fivenotechord I think you're right about Trucks; his uncle Butch says he was a child prodigy, and a lot of people even compare him to the great Skydog himself already. He is definitely the future, and it makes me feel good to know the future of this music will be hin the hands of people like Derek and Bramhall after the Old Masters, and all of us who've listened to them for 45 years have left the scene.

  • @roosterinboro Bramhall's really very good; don't think you saw him at his best on this song.

  • Rating the solos... Tie for first, Clapton and Winwood. Close 2nd: Trucks. Distant 3rd: that other guy.

  • @lewiswren I'm 18 too, but my dad gave me this music from the begining. I hope you'll do the same if you have kids one day.

  • @pwg1126 actually That was Elvis. Clapton's nickname in the 60s was God. Seriously.

  • @lewiswren I'm 57 and grew up with this stuff......pretty great stuff.....Winwood btw was your age with he started playing professionally......enjoy the blues
