Email Notifier (self built) (you should see annotations !)

When my client computers are shut down and I like to know if I received emails I would normally turn on a client computer but now I made this little handy device so I know in advance if I need to do that.
It is an Email Notifier using 3 different colour LEDs to distinguish between normal, important or unimportant email. Inside the box are 3 LEDs each connected to a resistor and then via a long wire to my server computer in the closet in the other room. The cable is a 4-strands cable because it also needs a ground wire ofcourse. It is connected to the paralell port on the server.
