Rob Adair's Honda Civic Cx Hatchback, All Motor D-Series. D15b8 Block and Ported & Polished D16y8 Head, new valves, springs, retainers. New lost motion assembly. Tuning on crome obd1 p28 and running a little lean until wide open throttle but the 2-step caused it to close the rev at 4500 RPMs. Road testing soon...

  • ya i did a cx mini me build in my 95 cx and it had pm3 b7 16 valve pistons i cracked the head open and was like NNNNNNNNNNICE hahahah i dropped in a z6 head and am gonna start a vitara low boost turbo set up top mount for a peppy DD cx hatch SOHC VTEC ALL DAY

  • @98dc2gsr575 I'm about finished with mine finally but I have the z6 with fj rods and vitara pistons now. cometic head gasket, arp studs, precision entry level turbo and a few other goodies. :) Good luck with your single slammer!

  • The "D15b8" has 4 valve reliefs on the pistons for most of the 92-95 Civc Cx's. I didn't have to swap the pistons. Do your research before posting. I got lucky and did not have the 2 valve reliefs and did not have to swap the pistons. That is a observation that one should also check before doing the head swap and they should know what they are doing so they do not damage anything in the process.

  • But yet nowhere does it say that you have replaced the STOCK 2 VALVE PISTONS with something like the D15B7 PISTONS which have 4 VALVE PISTONS. Don't get a fat head, what im saying is where is your clearence for the 2 MORE VALVE'S PER CYLINDER !?. LMFAO, if your goin to list all the shit it has, then for the future i suggest listing everything. Sorry to sound like a dick but anyone else would just think they can put a 16 valve head on an 8 valve motor
