This is live footage of the UK band "The Diagram Brothers" shot in 1982. It is taken from the 'Riverside' arts program that was around at the time. The song "I didn't get where I am today by being a right git" was the second of two songs featured on the program, the first being the delightfully titled "Isn't it interesting how neutron bombs work?"

  • OMG can't believe The Diagram Brothers are on here. Lawrence Diagram (Fitzgerald) is my cousin. Haven't seen him in about 30 years lol.

  • If this is No.1 in the hit parade, we will all know in our hearts that the revolution has arrived.

  • Very Andy Partridge circa 1978

  • Longsights finest

  • There`s some brainial gland which loves structured atonality. I must have that gland. Their LP was usually on my turntable to the annoyance of my Doors-loving student flatmates. .

  • Brilliant- Lawrence Diagram's next band was ' Macho men crack under Pressure'.

  • Classic.Reform before its too late !!

  • Thanks for this very rare video
