I maybe a Maryland Terps fan, but Coach Yow redefined what battling cancer is. She kept fighting her on court opponents while off court fighting the opponent of her life. Coach Yow, like the late Coach Valvano, left her mark on NC State. One day soon, they will find a cure for cancer. Kay Yow, will always be remembered. We miss you Kay!

To die is to be forgotten, Kay Yow will always live. She fought for 21+years, may God bless her soul, her family, and the Wolfpack. We have truly lost one of the greatest people who lived on this earth.

i have and always will be a true tarheel fan but Kay Yow will always be a true hero in my eyes. I admire her for her dedication to basketball. She was an amazing woman. R.I.P Kay.
