The goverment wants to watch the citizens all the time and some say thats ok, because if you aren't doing anything wrong then you have nothing to worry about. Why is it that when the people apply the same scrutiny to the government, things get hairy. Should they not also have nothing to worry about if THEY are not doing anything wrong?

Ok so what You are saying is that the government is obviously no longer strong enough to protect its people and needs complete replacement. I think that the chem trails alone tell us this. If the us can not prevent mysterious unknowns from spraying about 40,000 times over my house a day, then they no longer perform the function required of them.

Besides, being the lender of last resort, makes them also the FIRST creator and ANY "MONEY"...Here's how I think they do it. Like a weather forecaster, who must gague conditions for the next day, The FED, must gague conditions to find out how much more the economy needs, because even though money circulates it also LEAVEs the economy too, either by physically going outside of the jurisdiction too long, and lesser amount foriegn to replace it...or they come back in from intrest payments to die.

Also...prove to me Fed has created that unaccounted money, The only way they can release that money into the economy, is wait for people who will make a promissory note, or send them a BOND...That's the only way they can release ANYTHING off their ledger they "create." Gives more insight into the term "LENDER of LAST Resort..." because that's the LAST place you want to borrow from no matter how low their interest rate is....

@dachickenman Ok, then, Do you know exactly what the Fed has to take in from those institutions, in order to release that money to them? They have to take in those promissory notes you and I make with the banks...When We spend that money, it circulates BACK to the banks, to then have portions of that money go back as payments to the FEDeral REserve. That's means that...they holding (virtually) the promissory notes, that "back" the money they then create, to loan to government

That is not true. The Fed has created trillions of dollars that are unaccounted for. If the Congress just sent them bonds, why would there be a push to audit the Fed (which in your scenario would be unnecessary), and why would the Fed be pushing so hard against such an audit if the Congress already knew about all the money its spending? The Fed buys much more than treasury bonds. It lends to institutions by just changing the amount of money on their own ledger sheet. That is creating funny money

Here's another idea: As it stands now...the Fed is where money is BORN, and where money goes to DIE, (or get resurrected, to go and circulate some interest back into the coffers....some functions of which FRACTIONAL RESERVE at the LOCAL BANK LEVEL handles...) and before any money goes out to circulate into the economy, it has to have someone OUT THERE ready to put collateral up to borrow it, or, a product up to sell to government.

Hey spanky...here's what I was thinking...

Government, boiled down, is FORCE. Greatest symbol of that force is "The Gun" or the "WMD" and, carried out in the form of "The Army" or "The police" who enforces the law, right?

financially, Government's "force" is the power of taxation, that is "backed" by the enforcement of LAW

Law, then, would be more powerful than a hunk of shiny metal. Because WITH LAw you can Seize the metal, regardless of need for it...or other's wanting of it...right?

@spanky: No...I don;t think it WOULD be worthless...here's why...Nixon took us OFF the gold standard in 1971(or was it 73?) and today it's "backed" by our promises to pay, and those promises are made good by our paying them through converting our labors into currency, through working!!!!

That mean's the money is actually PEOPLE POWERED, not precious metal powered, because metals can erode, future labor cannot yet.....because it's in the future...get it?
