Eagle Cap Wilderness Area (Part II) - East Peak/OR for Summits on the Air (SOTA)

Four of us, Guy/N7UN, Chris W6HFP, Janis/Photographer and Steve/wGOAT met in Portland for a week long back pack adventure in NE Oregon.This video is Part II of our adventure into the Eagle Cap Wilderness Area. Specifically finishing up our backpack into the Eagle Cap area. Then our ride up the Wallowa Vallley Tramway (steepest gondola in NA rising 3800') to the top of Mt Howard and the (1600') hike up East Peak for Summits on the Air (SOTA). Regretfully Rooster and Peanut did not make this journey with us.
