Nicaragua's first skateboard park - Surf Ranch

The Surf Ranch Resort is building Nicaragua's 1st skateboard park. Free to use and open to the public. We just finished phase 1 which includes the box section. Next section is the lower middle section which includes the pyramid, tabletop, rails, ledges, etc...

We put in $15,000 of our own money into the park and are looking to raise $5000 more to finish it. To help out and chip in - www.surfranchnicaragua.com and click on "chip in". All donaters will receive their name on a plaque at the park and all donations over $50 receive 2 nights free stay at the Surf Ranch Action Sports Resort when open in 2012.

It is located on the way to the southern beaches, including remanso, yankee and hermosa. Except you turn left at the paintball signs towards miravalle and ojochal.

@divezero yeah man theres some people who dont apreciate this amazing work you are doing... I wish I could help in the building of this skatepark by donating some money or going to Rivas and help you out but Im from Managua and the money I get I have to invest it on my college education

botalina, sorry you got confused....this video of this section of our park was built before the one in Masaya...therefore the title. We are still building it, it will be Nicaragua's only skate plaza and largest skatepark with an onsite skateshop, restaurant, etc...The slabs of cement they call "skateparks" in this country are a joke :) We are helping you guys out and investing in your country, so get with the times and show just a little respect next time you jump to conclusions. Not the first skate park in Nicaragua...but white guys like to think they're the first to do everything. Here's a park in Masaya, must be outside their comfort zone (search "pros skaters en skatepark masaya" on youtube).
