NYC-LionKing

This is Dalton HS Drama Group & Desert Vista HS Jazz/Madrigal Choir (Phoenix, AZ) rehearsing "Circle of Life" for their Lion King "Voices on Broadway" performance at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway. The lady leading the group is Tshidi Manye who currently plays Rafiki in the production. She was fabulous and a lot of fun. This rehearsal takes place on the stage of the New Amsterdam Theatre, home to the Mary Poppins Broadway production. You can see the amazing set in the background.

The group also participated in a masterclass conducted by Jeanne Lehman (currently playing Mrs Potts, Beauty and the Beast - Broadway production), Beth Ertz (music composer, orchestrating & arranging), Gareth Saxe (currently playing Scar, Lion King - Broadway production), Michael Watson (playwright/actor, performer in Shrek & Sister Act - London productions)
