  • Don't care. Wall street rarely reflects what's actually going on in our economy.

These greedy bastards get paid whether things are up or down it seems. They gamble with our 401k's, and when they lose, we lose our retirement and they get bailed out.

Too many honest people in this country aren't getting treated fairly by a system that was initially setup to be the MOST fair in the world.

  • I wonder what the conservatives will do to wreck the economy just b before the election? For certain they will do what they can to cost American jobs, close American factors and in general sabotage the economy. This is important to them in order to make Obama and his policies look like a failure. Doesn’t matter to conservatives the cost in American human suffering because they don’t give a damn about Americans or America. Conservatives today are tractors, especially the tea baggers.

  • One day the title will read:

"Stocks Have Best July the 6th. with a full Moon and 63% Humidity Since '76"

If money is worth..less and governments are throwing even more paper at them (stocks) by bailing out the banks, it's not much of a surprise to see the dollar value of stocks increase.

Too bad the free market is still on it's way..

  • @thefranciswatts it is refreshing to see someone that get's it

  • betcha i could have a high stock price too if the fed was dumping money at my door

  • This is great news! The class of job creation will finally have more money to spend on hiring third worlders!

  • You know. in some circles if the price of something goes up, and the value does not, it's called inflation. all this "quantitative easing" is what produces the inflation. the banks get the money and give to people who use it to buy stocks...inflation.

  • @JumpnEvolution sooo... fear monger.. how do you say the economy works.. in a recession ?

  • incredible considering we have record real unemployment and massive foreclosures...certainly begs the question how has gain its momentum.
