One of my Top 2-3 favorite actors. The guy won the big one in 1955 only after a couple of years in Hollywood and having a reputation of not possessing star quality traits. The guy has been in a number of my favorite films (usually the #2 guy) - Dirty Dozen, The Wild Bunch, Escape From New York, etc...and now he has won a new generation with his work as Mermaid Man. A True American Icon and one of Hollywoods Greatest of All Time.

Definately one of my favorite actors, absolute class act and professional all the time, I only wish Hollywood would recognize all that he's done for them over the years and give him a lifetime achievement award or something.
