Axe-Fx Apache settings

Still working on it, but quite close to the original sound already:

Effects chain on the Axe-Fx: Compressor + ClassA Amp sim (Vox AC15) + Cab Sim (Brit 1x12) + Tape Drive + QuadTap delay

Repetitions are still a lil' bit too long, but we could fix this in a jiffy with some minor tweaking. The important thing, that is, tone, is already (almost)there.

Guitars: Raulin's Blade R2 with a set of Seymour Duncans SSL1, and Pancho's Edwards Strat with Fender Fat50s and custom neck.

Apache starts at 4:35. Before, you can hear "Arrows of love" (by Henk "The Chief" Haanraads), "Farewell to Casablanca" and "Secrets of the sea", both by Lennart Clerwall.

This is Raulin, Pancho's friend. Thanks for your comment. The strings are D'Addario 11-49.

We were working again on this patch last weekend and now we've fixed the echo repetitions. Tone is even better than before, but we ain't completely satisfied yet and we'll go back to it next Saturday. We're seeking 'perfection'. In a A/B comparison with the original recording I'd personally say we're really close to it, but we want 100%, which we'll reach in the near future for sure.

I got here to listen to the SSL-1 which I considered buying, but actually fell in love with the Fat 50s !! They sound pretty amazing, but hey - what a fabulous neck you have there !!
