Stalker- Clear Sky DX10 (8800gt,q6600)

Finally I found a good dx10-config. for my pc:

Q6600 not oced
8800gt not oced
3,5gb RAM
Vista 32

I´m sorry for the rare lags, the game engine isn´t very good and I used fraps...

I used CPU-Control to use all 4 cores of my quad processor.

Die Sichtweite kannst du auf max stellen, die kostet keine leistung (stand bei tomshardware), und wenn dann maximal 1 fps ;)

Joa, hab CS lang nicht mehr gespielt, ahb mittlerweile ne schicke gtx275...ich hoff das Spiel läuft dann auch mal gut

is it just me, or are many games with modern lighting very dark whenever light isnt shining directly on the surface?

not really complaining, but clear sky base in this game is very dark if you go round the corner, out of the sunlight. its no darker when its nighttime, is it?

I don´t think the game is too dark, but yes, the nights are VERY dark...without flashlight it´s nearly impossible to see anything.

but it isn't that dark normally ingame.. just turn up your gamma...

no, i know thats what HDR is. im talking about how generally dark it is in the shade.

the nighttime dark is great, and bein in the sun is great, but step into the shade, its very dark. and it doesnt come into focus. your eyes dont adjust, its just dark

it's supposed to mimic a persons eyesight.. when there's light around you and you try to look into the dark.. its dark, until your eyes focus

but just in your vid, at 1.07 the deck is very dark, yet the sun is shinging brightly.

thats what i was saying. that its too dakr in the shade. not just this game, but many games with modern lighting
