Just bought my new skate banana. all i can think about is shredding the pow! sucks living in a place where the resort opens late! but gotta love old hurricane ridge lolz.

@Bronology The SB kicks its ass: the flying V doesn't have magna traction, lib-tech patented that. Instead it has 'pressure distribution edges', which means the edges protrude slightly in 2 zones. Magna traction adds 7 or 8 extra bite points on each side. Now that's important with a banana shaped board because the edges on the nose and tail are further above the snow than on a normal camber board. Without magna traction, it'd be harder to grip the snow. Never tried the flying V, but my SB's sick

Just ordered my Skate Banana... But I've heard that Burton's Flying V or something is better. Anyone know?

I remember snowboarding for the 1st time in the mid 90's, snowboarding's golden age! The board I fondly remember and rode was a Lib Tech Emma Peel with a skier on the deck. Ever since, a Lib Tech snowboard is like my 1st and only true love! You guys rule!
