It's Going To Be Okay - Episode 30 Part 1 MM1/3

*The next morning*
Demi: (Wakes up, heartbroken, and noticed Joe crying. She slowly uses all of her strength to pulls her hand out of his and lay it on her waist)
Joe: (Hurt, he looks up at her) Demi?
Demi: (Whispers) Leave.
Joe: Baby, please. Im here now. I love you. Youre going to be okay.
Demi: (Without saying anything, she subtly presses the nurses button)
Nurse: (Comes in) Yes, Ms. Lovato?
Demi: (Gives her a get him out look)
Nurse: (Nods) I think itd be best if you left sir.
Joe: (Confused, he looked at the nurse then back at Demi) Demi
Demi: (Whispering once again) Out.
Joe: (Gets tears in his eyes and leaves)
Demi: (To the nurse) Thanks.
Nurse: (Nods again) Get some rest, sweetie. The Doctor will be in shortly.

*In the waiting room*
Nick: Sel, please talk to me.
Selena: What is there to talk about?
Nick: Us? Our baby?
Selena: There is no us, Nick. Not since you decided to go and kiss my best friend. And this baby is not ours. It belongs to the couple who is going to adopt it.
Nick: Selena please. Its my baby just as much as it is yours. I love you and our baby. Im sorry about what happened, okay? It was a stupid mistake and I regret it every second of every day. I want you to keep this baby and I want us to be a family. I love you!
Selena: (With tears in her eyes) How am I supposed to believe that you wont cheat again? How am I supposed to trust you?
Nick: Just do. I will prove to you how much I love you for the rest of our lives.
Selena: (As a few tears start to fall) Nick, were 16. How are we going to raise a child?
Nick: (Happy) Baby, I will get a job, and we can live at Kevins house for a few years, theres lots of room. I will be able to pay for everything. With the money from work and the money my parents gave me before I left them.
Selena: (Unsure) I dont know
Nick: (Takes her hand) Please.
Selena: I love you too Nick.
Nick: (Leans in to kiss her)
Selena: (Leans in too)
Joe: (Walks into the waiting room, noticing Nick and Selena) Youve got to be kidding me.
Selena: (Stands up) Joe, hows Demi?
Nick: (Stands up too) Is she awake?
Joe: Yeah, she woke up, and then kicked me out. So I dont know how she is... I cant believe you two.
Selena: What?
Joe: After what he did, you were just going to forgive him? You realize hell probably do it again? Next time I doubt hell even know the poor girl (chuckles)
Selena: (Looks down)
Nick: Sel, dont believe him, he doesnt know what hes talking about.
Selena: Hes right. I dont know what got into me. Im going to go check on Demi and then Im leaving. Goodbye Nick, Joe. (Leaves)
Joe: Bye, Sel. Make sure shes alright please.
Selena: (Nods and leaves)
Nick: (Shoves Joe) What the hell is your problem? Just because youve ruined your relationship with Demi, doesnt mean you have to do the same for me and Sel.
Joe: (Shoves him back) No, actually Nick, you ruined my relationship with Demi. And you ruined yours with Selena. This one is on you buddy. Hope you have a great time living with that (Leaves)
Nick: (Frustrated) Ugh!


*Selena arrived at Demis room and walked in. Demi was awake, looking out the window*
Demi: (Without turning around) Joe, please. Just leave me alone.
Selena: Demi?
Demi: (Turns around with tears in her eyes) Sel?
Selena: Demi! (Runs over to her and hugs her)
Demi: I am so sorry.
Selena: I know.
Demi: I never meant to hurt you.
Selena: I know, Dem. I forgive you.
Demi: You do?
Selena: Of course I do. But you have to promise that you will never try to hurt yourself again, no matter how bad life gets.
Demi: (Nods)
Selena: (Sits on the bed next to Demi) How are you feeling?
Demi: Like someone made mashed potatoes in my stomach.
Selena: Well thats what its like to have your stomach pumped. Why did you do this? And (Points to Demis wrist) this?
Demi: (Looks away)
Selena: Demi
Demi: (A few tears fall down her face) Im sorry for what happened with me and Nick.
Selena: Demi, I know. I forgive you for that. Okay. Youre my best friend. Were all allowed a couple of mistakes. But Ive got to tell you, youre running short.
Demi: (Laughs a bit) I need you, Sel.
Selena: (Hugs her again) I need you too.
Demi: Please tell me that I didnt break you guys up.
Selena: (Looks down)
Demi: Sel, he loves you. And you love him.
Selena: I know, Demi. But we can talk about this later, you need to rest. I can get Joe for you if you want (Stands up)
