@gypsyblaudog Dapples are fine to breed, but a double dapple is a big no no even experience breeders should not do it !!

@gypsyblaudog Completely agree with you. As cute as they are, they are at risk for micro vision, complete blind and deafness and even death caused by internal birth defects. All to get either the blue eyes or the coat colors. Its sad. =(

these are so cute. my dog had some puppies three months ago and she was fox terrier mixed with something elses, and the father was mini gray with black spots dapple. My niece and i kept the two puppies that came out looking exactly like the father. Mine was the runt if the litter and she's really tiny.

@LzFa Hello. The mother is a black/tan "silver" dapple and the father is a choc/tan with neither parent carrying the piebald gene.

These are the cutest!
These dapples are reverse dapples, which is when they have more dappling than their actual color. Very cute! :)
And just a bit to think about, dapple cannot be carried. The dapple gene is dominant so therefore cannot be carried. Someone on you dams side must have been a hidden dapple.
