Silverchair was influenciad by those grunge bands...with their 15 years old they did it....but now? Fuck them. poor pop sell out guys.

I like all their shit to be honest....people grow up and change, and it affects the type of music they want to make and their tastes, though this should be obvious. Making different kinds of music 15 years later could be compared to watching a cartoon when your a kid, then wanting to watch different programs when your older. Is that not ok?

Daniel said the Frogstomp represented "naivety", Frk Shw "anger", NB "depression", Diorama "escapism", and YM represented "acceptance" But what needed to be accepted? What was it he had to resign to? The fact that he is 30 now and not 20. The Diorama Daniel could sing anything from YM just fine. This YM Daniel could never sing Learn to Hate, Spawn Again, or One Way Mule. YM is no more original than Frogstomp, only his influences have changed. A EPIC attempt, but a failure.
