hi fella, nice to hear your going to put this on the canon 7d (same camera i am running), since you posted this vid i wondered if you have some pictures you could post on here or better still a link to your web site or blog etc so i could have a good look, i believe saying the pictures obtained with this lens and 7d will be out of this world,

Does the weight of the lens bother you?

@jchoo34 Not really. It's pretty easy to hand hold. But when I run it with my Alien Bees ABR800 ring flash, it does start to get heavy when hand holding.

@Goodbadbritish I really like it. I shoot 2 weddindgs with it the last 2 weekends. I have to start editing the photos to see how the photos came up thanks' to the new lens.

@ocabj unfortunately in wedding environment where I shoot I do not afford the luxury of using a tripod or shooting above 1/200 even if I pump up the ISO (on my canon 50D I use it only up to 3200). So I ordered a canon 70-200 2.8 is II. Now I wait for the lens to arrive at my front steps.
