I'm just glad that the IHRA is running ALL there races on the 1/4mile this year...I tried ADRL @ Rockingham & they have some BAD ASS ProMods BUT I cant stand watching them race ONLY 1/8th mile ( HALFTRACK ) IT sucks BIGTIME . therefore I will never go again ...NHRA & IHRA National Events are the BEST ....NO COMPETITION.....I gladly pay my 50 to 60 dollars to see NHRA & IHRA as opposed to seeing ADRL run halftrack for FREE

Talking about the jet truck...recently at a local airshow they had a 2001 Dodge Ram jet truck race one the Red Bull race planes...They clocked the truck at right over 345 MPH.

I was there Sunday for Eliminations...Always go for the spring nationals and the world finals in the fall. A good buddy of mine used to have a Pro Mod 57 Bel Air....his team would usually make the top 10 every IHRA Event...he passed away July 07....It was something. You'd see his car...NO Sponsor stickers....he paid for everything...no one else around here can afford to keep his cars going...He had 2 Pro Mod 57's.
