This man is simply hypocrite. It has nothing to do with the Koran. In fact the Koran ALLOWS a woman to get a divorce and then goes on further to say that the man can not seek revenge on her. Oppression of women is universal and cultural. Not Islamic.

Honor killing is not a crime in Islamic countries and Hassan is a good muslim & only wanted to do the right thing. If his wife didn't like being beaten & beheaded she could have taken 3 witnesses to Sharia court & complained. Hassan did beat her face leaving marks and thats wrong & he should be fined.

whether Islam allows beheading or not (though I cant find proof its allowed), this man would have still beheaded his wife. it had nothing to do with Islam and everything to do with anger. glenn back is just islamphobic and is saying that "its ok for a christian/jew/hindu to commit rape/murder/theft but if its a 'muslim' , then Islam and all the muslims around the world are extremists

This man gives me hope. Maybe Islam can be reformed. What needs to be happen is that harsh measures need to be taken against muslims who advocate terror like deportations any riots such as those in France need to be treated like military offensives and crushed accordingly.

I know people fom the Midddle East and South Asia and they say that all of those things are lies. Women do not get beheaded and stoned. In Islam you both men and women get equal punishment under the law. In the West were people get diffrent punishment for the same crime (that is why so many poor minorities are in prison while rich whites hardly ever go to prision). In fact many Muslims think Western women are oppressed. LOL

I have read and studied the Koran and hadith from scholars so I know that Islam does not teach this. I am smart enough to know that just because a group of people call themselves Muslims does not mean that their culture reflects the correct teachings of Islam. I am Muslim and I know several Mulims who have cultural values that go aginst the teaching of Islam and they choose to practice their culture over religion. You can't teach me about a religion that I have studied and practiced for years.

Have you ever been there? I've seen the way women are treated both in iraq, afghanistan, saudi arabia... it's terrible... they get stoned to death for stuff women do out here in america...

Actually it is legal in all the countries for women to file for divorce in the countries you have mentioned. That is because Islam gives the women the right o do so. Some women don't because of PRE Islamic pagan culture. I don't care if you went to Mars the CULTURE of the people don't changes what has been written in the Koran.

try go to iran and pakistan and see if women file for divorses... i was in afghanistan and iraq... they behead women there... let's see if any other religion does that in this modern day...
